"If you spend time with kids, you will never be bored; perhaps many other things, but never bored".
These were words that my grandfather told me years ago, and to this day, they have proven true. I have definitely never been bored.
My name is Jennifer, and I am a 21 year old, third-year Queen’s University student, and I have been a certified lifeguard and swimming instructor for the past seven years, and have been babysitting children of all ages since the age of 12.
In both my personal and professional life, I have found that I absolutely love spending time with children, helping them learn, and also learning from them in the process. When it comes to caring for children, I adhere to my father’s philosophy that “each child is a Ming Vase, irreplaceable and deserving of the utmost care and protection. So, when it comes to your children, I promise not only to entertain them, and to allow them to have fun, but I also promise to ensure their safety and treat them as the Ming Vases that they are.

I have been a lifeguard and swimming instructor for the past seven years, have spent the majority of my summers coaching swimmers of all ages, and I have also been heavily involved with youth recreational soccer in my hometown in Colorado.

I am an avid soccer player, and enjoy all sorts of sports from swimming and biking to basketball and softball.

I have also tutored younger students in subjects ranging from English Language and Literature to Algebra, Calculus, and Biology, and I am more than willing to help your children with any homework or academic material.

I have been a Red Cross Certified babysitter for nearly nine years, have been a swimming instructor and lifeguard for the past seven years, and have spent the majority of my summers coaching swimmers of all ages.

I have also been involved with Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO), an organization targeted towards encouraging special-needs athletes to succeed in their athletic endeavours. Through SOCO, I was both an assistant soccer coach and helped to coordinate athletes in swimming events.

I come from a very large family and have an incredible amount of personal experience working with children, playing with them, helping to teach them, and also learning from them in the process.
