Either you are losing a Nanny you and your kids loved because of a change of <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.sosgarde.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/people-tick-list.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-231\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.sosgarde.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/people-tick-list.jpg\" alt=\"tick list for background check\" width=\"185\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a>circumstances or you have to replace your Nanny because it just was not working out for either of you. Although these situations are polar opposites, they both bring stress \u2013 you are either stressed about finding someone as great as your last Nanny or you are stressed about finding someone who will work<\/span><span id=\"E126\"> out<\/span><span id=\"E127\"> and bring stability to your home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"E128\"><span id=\"E129\">Well! Take a deep breath or a nice sip of wine and re-wire your thinking. It is time to get on with it. <\/span><span id=\"E130\">And you will find a great new Nanny! Here are five <\/span><span id=\"E131\">things to consider <\/span><span id=\"E132\">as you start the process:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li id=\"E133\" class=\"qowt-stl-ListParagraph qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-nospace-after\"><em><span id=\"E134\">Get your family ready for a new <\/span><span id=\"E135\">N<\/span><span id=\"E136\">anny<\/span><\/em><span id=\"E137\"> \u2013 It is a bit like dating, if you can still remember that! You need to give yourself space to clear out your feelings about your last Nanny and make room in your heart and your mind for a new Nanny. And you have to be deliberate about doing this. And you have to help your kids through it!<\/span><\/li>\n<li id=\"E139\" class=\"qowt-stl-ListParagraph qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-nospace-before qowt-nospace-after\"><em><span id=\"E140\">Stand out from the crowd<\/span><\/em><span id=\"E141\"> \u2013 Make your ad stand out from the crowd by using inventive, informative and interesting subject lines.<\/span><\/li>\n<li id=\"E144\" class=\"qowt-stl-ListParagraph qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-nospace-before qowt-nospace-after\">\n<address><span id=\"E145\">Short and Sweet\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"E146\" style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">\u2013 Remember we live in a \u2018Twitter\u2019 world these days so you need<\/span><span id=\"E147\" style=\"line-height: 1.5;\"> to keep your job description concise, whilst not leaving out anything important. Include the major categories of responsibilities and then use the face to face interview to get to the details.\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li id=\"E151\" class=\"qowt-stl-ListParagraph qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-nospace-before qowt-nospace-after\"><em><span id=\"E152\">Move fast<\/span><\/em><span id=\"E153\"> \u2013 If you do a telephone interview, schedule the face to face meeting for as soon as possible <\/span><span id=\"E154\">(same day is great) as it can be a competitive market.<\/span><\/li>\n<li id=\"E156\" class=\"qowt-stl-ListParagraph qowt-li-1_0 qowt-list qowt-nospace-before\"><em><span id=\"E157\">Pick those who move fast<\/span><\/em><span id=\"E158\"> \u2013 People are going to do their job in a similar way as they do their job hunt.
