It is \u00a0a special day that most of us have marked in the calendar, just like other holidays such as Mother\u2019s Day and Father\u2019s Day. Hallmark and the other \u201csuppliers of holiday cheer\u201d gear up for this date, each year.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.sosgarde.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Untitled-design.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1631 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.sosgarde.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Untitled-design-e1644259532108-300x223.png\" alt=\"Untitled design\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sosgarde.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Untitled-design-e1644259532108-300x223.png 300w, https:\/\/sosgarde.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Untitled-design-e1644259532108-768x570.png 768w, https:\/\/sosgarde.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Untitled-design-e1644259532108.png 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>And we say: <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hurrah for Valentine\u2019s Day when couples celebrate and show their love for one another! <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hurrah for Mother\u2019s and Father\u2019s Days when families show their love for their parents!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But we also say:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why have beautiful china plates and only use them once a year?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or in other words, why wait for a future date to tell your loved ones just how much they are loved?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the love of Family<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So what are <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikihow.com\/Show-Your-Parents-You-Love-Them\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">some things that kids of all ages can do to show their parents some love<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oh, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.enkivillage.com\/how-to-make-your-parents-happy.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">let me count the ways<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Tell Them<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use your words! That is usually an expression used to encourage children to express their feelings of frustration or anger using words in place of an emotional or physical outburst. But it applies here too! There is no better way to let your parents know how much you love them than actually telling them:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take a moment to say the words \u201cI love you!\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember to say thank you!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make a homemade card<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make a picture<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Write a poem or a song<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Write them a letter or leave notes around the house<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create a list of why you love them<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Show Them<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actions speak louder than words! Definitely tell your parents you love them but also show it through your actions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Give them hugs. Often!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make them breakfast in bed<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organise a family outing <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organise a family evening in (with food and games or a movie)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make a coupon books of things you can do for them<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clean your room<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do your chores without be asked (or even better, do a chore that is not normally on <\/span><b><i>your<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> list!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help them with something that you are good, such as how to use their tablet or smartphone or social media<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make them proud! (Obey them. Listen to their guidance. Work hard in school. Apologise when you do something you were not supposed to do)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the love of all the Family<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s a fact that parents hold a very unique and special place in our hearts. We suggest sharing this with them in this month of love, and in every month. Let\u2019s go even further! Why not tell <\/span><b><i>all<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the members of your family that you love them! Grandparents, aunts and uncles and siblings would certainly appreciate hearing this as well. And don\u2019t forget to tell your favourite babysitters or your nanny just how much you appreciate all that they do for you. Why not? It is free yet priceless!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No matter how you go about it, remember to use your \u201cgood china\u201d every day of the year. Or in other words, do not wait for a special occasion like a birthday or Mother\u2019s\/Father\u2019s Day to <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikihow.com\/Do-Nice-Things-for-Your-Parents\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">let your parents and other family members know how much you love them<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">! Let them know today! And tomorrow!
