Experience:
My grandmother lives in a seniors apartment complex and was formerly a care working in a private long-term care facility. I would assist her with the duties in the care home such as playing games with the residents, taking wheelchair-bound clients for walks, and serving meals.
My grandmother currently has dementia and in the past 3 years I have had the primary duties of caring for her from a distance. My research and knowledge of Alzheimers disease and dementia is extensive and backed up by personal experience with the condition.
As well, I was previous employed with Shannex retirement living community as a staffing coordinator and spent some time helping out in the facilities with the residents.
