Expérience:
Growing up I always helped friends babysit. For some reason children love me, they always want me around or to play with them, so I started getting more comfortable about taking care of children in my young teens. For a few years I was babysitting a family friends children a lot, their parents are musicians so they either needed me to watch their daughters at their shows or stay at home with the children and watch them and usually spend the night with them. Watching them was easy, obviously children always want to play. I had to feed them dinner, give them baths sometimes, put them to bed etc. I really enjoyed babysitting them. Since they moved, over the years I've just been helping friends babysit again. I don't know of many younger children anymore, but I do spend time with 12-14 year olds and sometimes I help watch them. I didn't want to consider babysitting again until I did a CPR course, which I completed so I am certified, and I feel better about watching children now.
