Expérience:
I currently volunteer in a SNAP program in St. Catharines, which is a day program working with special needs children. During the summers (4 years now) I work with the Town of Oakville as a camp cousellor with the Summer Sizzlers Program. So I have a police check every year , training in the High 5 Program, CPR, First Aid and additional training to work with Special Needs. I have attached my police check and two references from the town.
The year between high school and university I went to Thailand and volunteered at Mountain Smile School for Special Needs Children. (if you check the web-site, you will see me)
The year before that I was a one-on-one support worker for special needs twins, doing occupational therapy, speech therapy, physio and meeting weekly with therapists to plan and implement programs.
While in high school I took part in a co-operative program on a daily basis and assisted with special needs students in a Grad 3 class
