English Speaking Senior Caregiver Needed in Gatineau – Compassionate, Lighthearted Support for Our Mom Our family is looking for a kind, dependable, English-speaking caregiver to provide one-on-one support for our wheelchair-bound mother in her home in Gatineau. We are hoping to find someone who is not only experienced and capable, but also warm, patient, and lighthearted. A gentle sense of humour and positive attitude mean a lot to us. We want Mom to feel safe, respected, and cared for — but also comfortable and uplifted each day. What the Role Involves Personal Care & Comfort • Assistance with toileting, hygiene, grooming, and dressing • Support with incontinence care as needed • Ensuring dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times Mobility Support • Safely using a mechanical lift for transfers (bed to wheelchair and back) (experience with this is an asset but not necessary) • Helping with repositioning to prevent pressure sores • Making sure she is comfortable and well-positioned
