Experience:
I have been volunteering with children since elementary school. During my younger years, I was an assistant Figure Skating Instructor for toddlers and preschool aged children. I have recently completed a two year college level course called "Early Childhood Education!" This class has given me hands on experience working with children aged three to twelve. Throughout the course I have had a lot of experience in special education classrooms. I have also babysat for many years, and am going to be majoring in child psychology in college. Currently I volunteer in a day care at a shelter for abused woman and children, where I spend most of my time with the toddlers and infants. I am also doing an internship at a child care center where I take care of children aged 12-24 months. All in all, I love being around kids, and want to help them make their way to healthy futures!
