Experience:
Dear family,
From a young age, I have always enjoyed working with children and have many years of experience working with children. I have volunteered in schools, had co-op in a classroom, been an in-school mentor for a child through the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization, babysat, nannied, supplied at daycares, after school programs, summer camps, and in schools, as well as had pre-service experience as a teacher and an early childhood educator. Most recently, I worked full time as an early childhood educator in full day kindergarten. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator and an Ontario Certified Teacher. Additionally, I am certified in Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C.
My philosophy for guiding children to learn and grow is to observe and listen to their needs and wants, then provide an enriched environment based off of their interests. Children learn best when they are interested in something and are having fun
