Experience:
Through middle school and high school, I babysat for two families on my street. One family had a boy and a younger girl who had a speech disorder. The other families had two boys; one of the boys had autism. I have experience with children with disabilities because I used to volunteer at ErinoakKids, a camp for children with intellectual and physical disabilities. After ErinoakKids, I volunteered with Dramaway, an extracurricular activity for teens with disabilities. After moving to Halifax, I have recently start babysitting a family of three here. I help tidy the house as well. Through the years, I have gained lots of experience and I’ve learn how to effective help children with homework, if need be.
