Experience:
I have babysat children of all ages over the years. When working as a swimming instructor I was responsible for groups of children in a dangerous setting without ever running into an issue. I taught lessons as young as babies with parents to groups of toddlers and up to pre-teenagers. My experience with babies and children is extraordinarily vast (though most took place prior to my university education). I took a 4th year psychology seminar on child development which walked me though caring for children with asthma, diabetes, feeding/elimination disorders etc. My knowledge bank on what to do in emergencies or with special circumstances is greater than that of the average applicant, and much of what I learnt I have retained because I’m so highly interested and understand the value in this information.
