Experience:
As a teacher and babysitter, I've been told many times that I have a calming effect on children. I have ten years of experience as a babysitter. I think it's important that children spend their time playing, going outside and in general have an active lifestyle and have as many opportunities to learn as possible.
My favourite things to do when I babysit are to take children to play outside at the park or in their backyard, go for walks, play boards games or read stories, draw and other art projects. Of course, I've also had to supervise homework, hand washing and bed time!
Overall, I try to keep the children involved in their routines and make it as fun as possible.
