Aside from being the go-to entertainer for my plethora of younger cousins during family gatherings and having two young nieces, I've been a youth baseball coach for three years. In my years of coaching, my calm and patient demeanor has proved successful in creating fun learning environments while maintaining order. In the process of coaching kids from 6 to 15 years old, I've developed various approaches best suited for the age and personality of the kids. I also have experience as a tutor (English), working with fellow students at the Cegep de Sherbrooke's Help Center. When working with children, I constantly remind myself that every word I utter and every action I pose is being watched by young, impressionable minds. And so, I strive to set a positive example that promotes kindness, imagination, and critical thinking... with a smile, of course!
