I have a lot of experience working with children at many different levels. I worked as a camp counsellor for 2 summers at YMCA residential and day camps. The children I was working with were from 4 to 13 years old. While working at camp I worked happily with a number of special needs children who had blindness, down syndrome or autism. I also baby sat throughout high school for children of ranging ages. I taught swimming lessons to children 5 months to 13 years of age. Also throughout the last year I babysat a 16 year old boy with down syndrome, which helped to develop my patients and ability to work with special needs children. Lastly, I travelled to Malawi Africa in the winter of 2011 where in worked in orphanages teaching english, feeding and taking care of children.
