Hello families! I’m Melanie, a 26-yr-old graduate of the Early Childhood Studies program at Ryerson University! I am just stepping away from a family I was with for 7 months (caring for two boys under 24 mo). I’m hoping to find a wonderful family that needs full-time care Mon-Fri, ideally for 1-2 early children, and am open to relocating for the right family! I have a wide range of experiences with children from infancy to adolescence, including those with special needs. These experiences include settings not limited to home care, daycare, grade school, and camp. Most of this has come from daycare and elementary school placements through my program (80 hours shadowing an RECE or OCT each year). Throughout my degree, I worked at the community centre at Spadina and Bloor running programs to encourage motor exploration in early children
