Experience:
I have had quite a bit experience with children thus far in my life. As I mentioned above, my mom is a kindergarten teacher and I frequently visit and help out with her classroom when I am home. I have babysat numerous family members as well as friends and neighbours. Through Frontier College, I volunteered in a grade 6 classroom which was a great experience for me. I attend the University of Guelph and am in a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Child, Youth and Family. This semester, I have a practicum placement where I am in a Senior Kindergarten classroom. In the classroom, I plan and implement circle activities as well as area set-ups. I think that this experience is going to be very valuable for me in my life and career. In the future, I hope to be a teacher.
