Experience:
I am a mature, experienced, caring and compassionate woman who provides high quality care. I hold a BC Residential, Home and Community Caregiver Certificate for Persons with Intellectual and/or Physical Disabilities. I have worked as a caregiver to seniors with profound intellectual disabilities and severe physical disabilities living in residential care. I cared for my mother at the end of her life, advanced Parkinson's, 24/7 for 2 months, giving respite to my exhausted Dad, which allowed my mother to die at home as she wished. I have also supported adults with intellectual disabilities one on one in their daily lives at home and in the community. I am trained in Food Safety, CPR C and MANDT..
