I also have a good understanding of the specific needs related to aging, especially for people with cognitive losses such as Alzheimer's. On a human level, I am known for my patience, my listening skills and my ability to create a climate of trust. For example, at my last job, I was accompanying a gentleman who often refused to get up in the morning. By taking the time to chat with him about his memories and including a song he liked in his routine, I managed to transform this difficult moment into a pleasant one for him.
