Job search with seniors - day shift
Experience:
I worked in a senior citizen's home (RPA) in Magog during the COVID-19 pandemic as a cook's assistant and housekeeping care worker. This experience allowed me to develop my sense of responsibility and organization, as well as great ease with the elderly. I am currently doing a master's degree in occupational therapy at McGill University and I am spending the summer in Sherbrooke. At the moment, I am doing a geriatric internship at the hospital, where I am mainly carrying out evaluations related to daily activities such as cooking, showering, hygiene, food and safe transfers. I am also familiar with CLSC services. Thanks to my experience and training, I believe I am very able to provide caring, safe and adapted help for the elderly.
