Experience:
I have extensive experience in family-style residential care (RTF) for adults in mental health. As a result, I am very familiar with issues such as autism, intellectual disabilities, and dementia. This type of environment fosters personal relationships and human warmth, which I prefer to the atmosphere of large institutions. In order to help each person develop or maintain their skills, I seek to involve them in their own care to the extent of their abilities. For example, I invite them to cook together, prepare their own breakfast or fold their clothes under supervision, participate in physical activity such as walking or stretching, etc.
