I found out that I have an affinity and the talent to be with the elderly. My father had a girlfriend suffering from Alzheimer's and I took care of her. Two years ago, they discovered she had brain cancer, so I stayed at her house for eight months to care for her until the end. After that, I retired. I wanted a job like 3 days a week, I saw an ad for a home help, I applied and got it, now I work with a 94-year-old man since November. I used to make him dinner, change his diaper, help him walk, find games etc. But now his daughter is retiring to care for him. I'm sad but I understand. Now I know if I would have another life I would work with the elderly or the dying.
