I have worked for special needs camps for 2 summers (sleep away camp) at Camp Massawippi and Camp Merrywood with MAB, Easter Seals, and Mackay. I have also spent a whole summer shadowing a 10 year old boy who is deaf as well as autistic. I used to spend my recesses in elementary school and high school with the special needs children just because I found their company better than those of my other friends.I clearly enjoying working with children who have special needs as I keep going back to jobs that involve working with them
