Description:

Work can vary from 6 to 12 hours per day. Will see according to needs and will likely be regular shifts if all is well. Elderly woman with dementia, bedridden at this time. Need to stimulate and assist with all three meals, essentially slowly but surely feeding her and hydrating her. Need to hydrate her regularly, every 5 to 10 min one to two sips of water Need to be really patient and soft spoken with her Need to make sure television is on a specific channel, volume is fine, muted when required Need to answer calls for her and give her portable phone and ensure phone is ok when call completed in order to receive other calls Work is currently at a CHSLD (private room) More details of specific duties will be communicated here or when communicating with candidate. All work duties are light May assist at times the CHSLD staff however rare, mostly if the resident is comfortable in your presence, may be best to be present and possibly assist. Duties are light
