We are looking for the rare gem who can take care of our 9 year old boy to give us a little respite when we are at home or to go on small outings as a couple or with our 2 daughters (12 years old and 15 years old). Our boy needs support for all daily tasks such as: moving (he moves on his butt), feeding and medication (gavage feeding), hygiene (diaper changing, dressing/undressing) and he is non- verbal. He was born with a birth syndrome, Lowe syndrome, and when he was 3 years old, he had another HHE syndrome and this caused right hemiplegia and epilepsy. We are still adjusting our medication and he has a few seizures per week (absences or shutdown). Otherwise, he is a smiling, sweet, affectionate little boy and he loves music and outdoor outings.
