Expérience:

I have volunteer experience with the YMCA at the Flamborough branch as well as at Sir Winston Churchill Recreation Centre in Hamilton. My experience working with children of various ages has taught me the importance of planning organization. However, I have also learned that situations arise that are beyond your control which has enabled me to easily adapt to changing circumstances and situations that arise when working with children. In addition, I have taken certification courses in Red Cross Babysitting and YMCA Healthy Child Development that have taught me how to communicate with and teach children ranging from the toddler stage to early adolescence. Working with children often involves interacting with their parents, through my volunteer work I have learned to communicate with parents about their child’s work and development in a particular recreational program
