Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexandra, I have 10 years chilcare experience where I have cared for infants, toddlers, tweens and special needs children. I am the eldest of my family as well so I have grown up caring for the younger members of my family. Diaper changes, cooking, housekeeping are all amongst my roster of skills as well an energetic and upbeat disposition.
I especially recall one families I worked for as an assistant caregiver a couple times a month a about 5 years ago with two girls(2,4) and one boy(9). I won't use names only to protect the privacy of others, however the 4 year old girl as sweet and wonderful as she was to care for did require extra attention due to her mental handicap as she could not speak, dress or feed herself, walk (she would crawl). Therefore, it was important for me at that time not only to give her extra attention, but to also attend to and make the other children of the household feel important and cared for as well.
