Experience:
When I was 14, I participated in a one week after school course where at then end, I received a "Baby Sitter Certificate". From that point on I would babysit for family friends and eventually for families in my neighbourhood until high school. I then was hired to care for two children Monday through Friday after school for about 8 months. When the family moved away, I continued the odd baby sitting gigs every once and a while. I have cared for children from the ages of two to eleven, with four being the maximum amount I have looked after at one time. I am able to run errands, take children on outings, prepare and cook snacks/meals, light housework and create fun activities. I would like to add that I feel comfortable caring for a child with hyperactivity, or even a learning disability.
