Experience:
I have worked as a nanny for the past 5 years, in Canada.
Basic duties were: taking children from and to school and other activities, preparing meals for the children, assist with homework.
While in my care I try to keep the TV off, unless the parents request and/or agree, I will make sure the kids have fun and are active by playing games, doing crafts (painting, colouring, using our imagination and being creative...). If it's nice out, we can go out in the backyard to play.
