Experience:
I am a 23 year old graduate from the 3 year Child and Youth Care practitioner program at Humber College. In school, I was involved in 3 field placements. My first year placement was MacLachlan College in Oakville working in a grade 6 class. Second year, I had the opportunity to work at Behaviour Innovations: SOAAR, a community inclusive day program for adults with Autism. Lastly, I worked at Bloorlea Middle School in Toronto within their Home School Program class (HSP) grades 6 to 8. Since graduating in April, I have been working for the YMCA as a Early Learning Facilitator (ELF) working with a variety of children ages 2-12. I spend a lot of time with my nieces who are 3, 8 and 13 and love playing games and trying new things with them. Since I was a young teen, I have always loved working with people and couldn't imagine being in any other field of work!
