I’m a good candidate because I’m responsible, attentive, and respectful of each family’s routines and expectations. I always follow the parents instructions regarding bedtime, meals, activities, rules, and lifestyle. I also like to bring my own fun activities when appropriate and adapt them to the children’s interests if it’s okay with the parents!
I completed my babysitting training (Gardiens avertis) including training on what to do in different situations and how to perform CPR on an infant. I’m most comfortable babysitting a maximum of two children at a time so I can give them my full attention.
Before babysitting, I prefer to meet the parents and children beforehand to discuss important details such as bedtime, routines ,expectations, payment, and the time the parents will return. This helps make sure everyone is comfortable and that the children are safe and well cared for.
