Hello, I believe I am a good candidate for this position since I am a person who has a lot of compassion for others and who is patient. Despite my young age (17 years old and 18 years old in July), I have always been told that I am more mature than my age, that's why even if your son is a teenager, I would be able to take good care of him. Moreover, I have been working in the restaurant industry for 4 years now so I have seen all types of people pass by. Thanks to this work experience, I know how to handle certain reactions while staying calm. Working with a person who has an ASD greatly interests me since I am currently studying psychology at CEGEP to become a speech therapist. In addition, I am the vice-president of communication for student life at my CEGEP (Champlain College in Saint-Lambert), which gives me experience in communicating easily with others. I would be delighted to do any required training such as CPR for your son.
