Experience:
When I was 12 I did the Red Cross Babysitting course. I’m an aunt to two nephews (5 and 9 months), one niece (3), and another niece that will be here in the next month! I have cared for children from 4 months to 12 yrs and also experience with teens. I’ve helped to care for my nephews and niece from their birth. From January-August I cared for my niece full time and sometimes my nephews, cleaning, preparing meals, giving her a nap, walk to the park, etc. I spent 3 summers babysitting my cousins when they were 1-3 yrs old and 3 summers babysitting twin girls (9-11). I spent a winter caring for a 4 month old and sometimes her 2 brothers aged 2 and 4. I cared for 3 kids after school for a year; two were in elementary school and one in preschool. I have babysat occasionally ever since I was 12. I have worked in the nursery, Sunday school and with the youth group at my church. I also worked as a camp counselor for kids from 5-17. I also helped out with birthday parties.
