Experience:
University student looking to apply my knowledge and skills to a position within childcare. I am a student at Trent University, studying Molecular Biology, eventually wanting to go into pediatrics thus why I would like to continue working in childcare. I have over five years experience as a nanny, with a couple long-term families! I have been certified through Red Cross Canada, for CPR and first aid for both infants as well as children. Including the courses of standard first aid and CPR, emergency first aid and CPR, and emergency childcare first aid and CPR. Further courses allowed me to obtain my full lifeguard certification, and first responder training, to volunteer for on-campus first responders, through my university. I also have newborn, safety and parenting training. I have experience with children from the ages 0-12 and worked with many different parenting styles
