Experience:
Since young children learn mainly through play to build the skills they will need, I utilize children’s play to further language development, improve social skills, introduce scientific and mathematical concepts, and encourage creative expression through art, dance, and music. My preliminary Childcare Program consists of:
• Assistance with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating and sleeping
• Supervision of child's play, guiding behaviour and social development (ensuring physical safety at all times)
• Planning and implementation of individualized developmental programs (based on observation & discussion with caregivers)
• Observat ion and discussion of child’s recorded growth, behaviour and development
• Preparat ion of light snacks and meals; simple first aid in emergencies; maintenance of a safe, clean, and loving environment
