Hello, My name is Charlie! I'm a university student and I LOVE KIDS! I raised my younger sister, and started babysitting for neighbours when I was 11 years old, became a nanny at 14, and a teacher at 21. Kids are my passion, and their passions are my happiness. My work centers around the child's ongoing, changing interests, and I structure learning in the context of play. Focused on exploration, confidence-building and clear boundaries, I find tools in all environments to encourage development and fun. And, of course, once in a while, am happy to just relax in front of a child's favourite movie or show, maybe mixing it up by changing the language it plays in! I taught all primary and middle school levels to students in China, have been a full-time and part-time nanny for over a decade, and will happily take care of supper, so you have a warm meal when you get home from work or when you finish your day working from home!
