Because I have always been immersed in the animal world, having grown up on farms and currently sharing my daily life with three cats, a rabbit, and a chicken coop. Being vegan (I feed my cats raw meat and others, so no disgust towards meat haha), animals hold a central place in my life and I understand them quite naturally.
