Experience:
I have had dog's my whole life and love to be in their company.
My fiance and I bought a puppy just a year ago and enjoyed every minute of training him. To this day I do not regret getting him and although he is still in his bratty puppy faze, he is a wonderful pet.
I would NEVER hit any pet, I am completely against that. I find a firm tone and making sure they know you are alpha works best.
