Experience:
I love people. I am very empathetic. Some people are very dedicated to children... Me, I love being with the elderly. I take care of them as if they were a member of my family. I worked in a CHSLD and am now in a RPA.
I offer to run errands with or without them. I have a very reliable car (Cadillac). I want to spend time with them. Do games that will work memory, fine motor skills, artistic projects and more. I like doing activities with music. Often songs bring back beautiful memories and I have the privilege to talk about it with them. I can cook some meals but I do not do housework. I really want to spend as much of my time as possible with the person.
I was once a pharmacy technician, so I am very comfortable making sure they take the right medications at the right time as prescribed by the doctor and pharmacist.
