I wish to offer support that allows families to have a moment of respite while knowing that their loved one is accompanied with kindness, respect, and safety. It is important to me to provide tailored support for each person, to create a relationship of trust, and to take the time to understand their needs, interests, and pace.
I hold a certificate in psychology, a bachelor's degree in psychoeducation, and I have experience supporting elderly people with loss of autonomy as well as with individuals (adults and children) with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders. I am a patient, attentive, and committed person who enjoys creating meaningful connections and promoting the well-being and autonomy of the person being supported.
