Experience:
I've already been doing bits of this work through driving — helping older passengers in and out of the car, carrying their bags, giving them time instead of rushing them. Before that I managed a team in Ontario, so I know how to be reliable and responsible. Now I want to do that care directly: groceries, appointments, medication runs — and I love cooking too, people say sharing a meal with me makes them feel good. I've been doing an informal version of this for a while. I just want to do it properly.
