15 years of experience in long-term care facilities with individuals suffering from cognitive impairments, dementia, and loss of autonomy. My priority is safety, comfort, and respect for the person. Providing care gently for assisting with getting up, going to bed, hygiene, nutrition, and administering medication. I am capable of working independently, I am honest, discreet, and have a sense of initiative. With good listening and observation skills, I have the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations, all while helping the individual maintain their autonomy for as long as possible.
