I have worked in this field for two years at a camp for children and teens with autism and intellectual disabilities. I was assistant director at this camp and this position allowed me to deal and make decisions regarding challenging situations in order to maintain the safety of all the participants at the camp. I succeeded at managing the unique needs of each participant while making sure they had a smile on their faces at the same time.
