Experience:
I am an experienced Special Needs Caregiver and ECE Level 1 educator with professional experience supporting children with autism (ASD), cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and emotional and behavioural needs. I currently work as a Developmental Aide in an early intervention program, providing one-on-one and small-group support for preschool and kindergarten-aged children. I also provide respite care for children with diverse support needs, including non-verbal children. My approach is calm, patient, and child-centred. I create engaging, adapted activities using visual schedules, social stories, sensory strategies, and positive behaviour support to encourage communication, independence, and confidence. I am certified in First Aid & CPR and am committed to providing safe, compassionate, and individualized care for every child.
