Respite, autonomy, and support for individuals with special needs
Experience:
I want to offer support that allows families to have a moment of respite while knowing that their loved one is accompanied with kindness, respect, and safety. It is very important to me to provide tailored support for each person, to create a relationship of trust, and to take the time to understand their needs, interests, and pace.
I hold a certificate in psychology, a bachelor's degree in psychoeducation, and I have experience supporting elderly individuals with loss of autonomy as well as working with individuals (adults and children) with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders. I am a patient, attentive, and committed person who enjoys creating meaningful connections and promoting the well-being and autonomy of the person I support.
