I would be a good tutor because I love learning, but especially because I enjoy helping others understand. I have a particular interest in French enough to have developed a relationship that is far too serious with past participles. My main strengths are my patience, my listening skills, and my ability to adapt to the person in front of me. I do not explain a concept the same way to everyone: if one method does not work, I try another until it clicks. I am also capable of simplifying complex concepts and creating an environment where the student feels comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that one can learn seriously without every mistake in French feeling like a life sentence. My goal is to make learning simpler, less stressful, and ideally, a bit more fun.
