I have a child (18 months) with a neuromuscular disease and special needs at night. Our family is looking for an auxiliary nurse with experience with children. Here are the tasks/needs: -Monitoring at night during the sleep of my son who sleeps with a ventilator (bipap). -When the machine sounds for leaks from the device, the nasal mask must be replaced several times a night. -If necessary, he needs to be repositioned in his bed on one side or another (he is unable to reposition himself). -Monitoring of the bipap machine and saturometer on the foot. -There are no diapers to change or drinks to give at night. -If necessary, suction secretions must be made with a suction machine or cough assist device when it comes to respiratory viruses. The salary will be paid by the CLSC according to the auxiliary nurse's wage scale and experience (proof of salary will have to be provided).
