Description:

We’re a family seeking a compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming caregiver to support our twin 8-year-old autistic daughters with PDA profile (Pervasive Drive for Autonomy). Both are currently homeschooled and in a period of autistic burnout recovery, so they benefit from a calm, predictable, low-demand environment centered on emotional safety and trust. Parents will primarily be in the home, especially at the beginning, to help build comfort and connection. As trust grows, the caregiver will take more of a lead role in guiding the girls’ daily flow and supporting their learning rhythm. This position blends caregiving and gentle, interest-led homeschooling. You’ll be part of their daily rhythm, supporting curiosity, creativity, and regulation through play, exploration, and connection, prioritizing emotional safety and autonomy over compliance.
