Description:

I am a sociable and generally independent autistic adult in the Kitchener-Waterloo area looking for a friendly, patient and reliable person for part-time peer-to-peer support and companionship. The main focus is social stimulus/support and enjoying activities such as coffee, conversation, music, movies, walks, restaurants, local events and occasional outings. I am independent with travel and most activities and do not require constant supervision. I occasionally experience sensory overload/shutdowns. During a more significant shutdown, I may temporarily need additional practical support. I also occasionally wear adult diapers/briefs when overwhelmed and may occasionally need assistance with changing and cleanup. This is not a daily responsibility. Autism/disability-support experience is an asset, but kindness, patience, maturity and reliability are most important. Part-time, paid, live-out.
